SHREDING
Your hard drive is the physical location where data from your computer is stored. Given the amount of personal files located on it, we highly recommend that you have your hard drive securely shredded with our data destruction process.
The Data Destruction, goes much further than a DOD What is this? wipe and places your hard drive with all the information on it, into a large shredder where your drive is quickly turned into a few hundred pieces of metal. Good luck in recovering your information after that.
So what's your risk? we do occasionally re-use or donate useful computers and/or components from the recycling process, and donate them to organizations that are deserving of it, if your hard drive passes our tests for reuse, we will perform a DOD format of the drive, which virtually eliminates the potential of someone getting to your files, however it is unlikely but possible that the data is still accessible.
